Lire et Faire Lire

I remember when mdm sisca taught me about the 'lire et faire lire' (read and commande to read). It needs so much effort to know how to read. Today, i had a new experience when i taught an adult balinese to read and write bahasa. I know how the difficulty to learn something new, especially for read. At first, she reads slowly, spells the characters one by one. I asked her to keep on reading. Then she able to read faster.
We spent 2 hours this morning. There is a progress. All she needs is only spending more time to read, so she will get usually with so many words and sentences. She will succeed soon. I am optimist.
I was touched by this moment. By read we can see that this world is greater. We can read many wonderful books. Like Alchemist. And also by read we can be a better person.
